This Return & Refund Policy applies to all digital services purchased from MUHAMMAD ABBAS through mabbas.dev, including web development, mobile apps, design, consultation, and maintenance services. Because our services are custom-made and delivered digitally, traditional "returns" do not apply. This policy explains how refunds are handled fairly and transparently.

1. Nature of Custom & Subscription Services

We offer custom software development and recurring digital services including hosting, maintenance, and subscriptions related to our registered field. Custom projects are tailored to your requirements. Subscription and hosting fees cover ongoing access, infrastructure, and support for the billing period in which they were paid.

2. Subscription & Hosting Refunds

  • Monthly subscriptions (hosting, maintenance, subdomain services): Generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, unless required by law or we fail to deliver the subscribed service.
  • Annual plans: Unused months may be refunded proportionally at our discretion if cancelled early and no major setup work has been performed.
  • Domain fees: Domain registration costs paid to third-party registrars are non-refundable once registration is submitted.
  • Payment gateway charges: Transaction fees charged by payment processors may be deducted from any approved refund.

3. Deposits & Milestone Payments

  • Project deposits secure your slot in our schedule and cover initial planning, research, and setup.
  • Deposits are non-refundable once work on the agreed first phase has begun.
  • Milestone payments correspond to defined deliverables. Each milestone payment covers work completed up to that stage.
  • If a project is structured in phases, refunds apply only to undelivered, unstarted phases.

4. Eligible Refund Situations

A full or partial refund may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • We are unable to commence work and no services have been delivered
  • We fail to deliver agreed deliverables as defined in your signed proposal or contract
  • Duplicate payment was made in error
  • A project is cancelled by us due to circumstances on our end before any work begins
  • Undelivered prepaid phases at the time of cancellation (see our Cancellation Policy)

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Work already completed and delivered or demonstrated in staging
  • Third-party costs incurred on your behalf (domains, hosting, stock assets, API subscriptions, plugins)
  • Consultation sessions that have already taken place
  • Deposits after the agreed project kickoff date
  • Delays caused by late client feedback, missing content, or scope changes requested by the client
  • Dissatisfaction with design direction after approved mockups or wireframes

6. Revisions vs. Refunds

We are committed to client satisfaction. Before requesting a refund, please allow us to address concerns through our revision process. Reasonable revisions are included as specified in your project agreement. Refund requests based on subjective design preferences — where deliverables match the approved scope — may not qualify for a refund but will qualify for additional revision rounds where agreed.

7. Refund Request Process

  1. Email info@mabbas.dev with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your full name, project reference or invoice number, payment date, and amount paid
  3. Provide a clear description of the reason for your request
  4. We will review your request and respond within 5–7 business days
  5. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days
